Anxiety and depression: co morbidity, cause or consequence has currently been emphasized very unitary theory whereby Anxiety and Depression would be two symptomatic forms of the same disease.

Other previous scales also showed the same differentiation between the two emotional pictures (Johnston et al, 1986, Mendel’s, 1972).
The unitary tendency anxiety-depressive is further enhances the efficacy of antidepressant treatment for both forward frames, as is the case of Panic Disorder, Social Phobia of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and even generalized anxiety , and for the cases of depression with or without significant anxious component.
